Planning Your Workout: When you walk into the gym, our coaches are there to help you plan your session. We'll look at the workout of the day (the "WOD") together and discuss the best way to approach it. This might mean adjusting the weight, modifying a movement, or simply breaking down a complex skill into smaller, more manageable steps. For example, if the WOD includes pull-ups and you can't do one yet, we'll show you how to use a resistance band or perform a different exercise that builds the same muscles. This simple act of planning transforms an intimidating workout into a manageable challenge you can confidently take on.
Preparing to Get Started: We understand that the idea of starting a new fitness program can be overwhelming. That's why we’ve created our 'Onramp' program—a carefully designed introduction specifically for this purpose. Think of it as your personalized roadmap for success.
Our Onramp program isn't just a quick tour of the gym. It's a series of foundational sessions where a dedicated coach works with you one-on-one or in a small group. We'll go over the fundamental movements that form the backbone of our training, like squats, deadlifts, and presses, ensuring you learn proper form and technique in a safe, controlled environment. We'll also help you understand our gym's culture, terminology, and how to scale any workout to your personal fitness level. By the time you complete Onramp, you won't just know how to perform the movements; you'll have the confidence to walk into any class, knowing exactly what to do and how to do it safely and effectively.
